SMG paddle shift steering wheel-Retrofit harness for Steptronic BMW E46/E39/E38

Compatible with BMW 3 series (E46), 5 series (E39), 7 series (E38) and X5 (E53) units equipped with Steptronic automatic transmission.

 

This harness allows you to peform a clean install, without cutting or altering the existing OEM wiring. Therefore, this procedure is completely reversible.

 

You'll need a M3 SMG steering wheel. "Sport" paddle shift steering wheel is not suitable for this mod.

 

In order for the paddles to transmit the signal, a new slip ring with additional connection terminals is also required.
